LA RECAP PART 1

We are back! We spent a total of 5 days in LA, I can't believe it's over. Our babymoon was a success. I will be breaking up the LA blog post into two parts. We took so many photos. :)

Part two of LA trip is here

Day 1- We stayed at Hotel Covell, which is relatively close to everything we wanted to see. I absolutely loved our hotel room called Chapter 1, also known as the Oklahoma room. After checking in, we did a little exploring and later met up with Nicholas's cousin, Andi and her husband Hamish. They live in LA with their children, Griffin and Cleo. Having them close was both comforting and really helpful, they were able to give us great advice and recommendations. We checked out WACKO'S, had coffee at Go Get Em Tiger and ate dinner at Cafe Stella, hands down my favorite meal on our trip.

Day 2- Day two must've been our busiest day. We ordered room service, breakfast tacos and migas from HomeState. We took a drive over to Griffith Observatory, I highly recommend visiting, the view there is gorgeous! If you're interested check out Skylight bookstore, my husband bought his weight in books alone. :) Later we drove over to Melrose Avenue did a little shopping at BONBON and visited both Alfred Tea Room and Alfred Coffee. Don't forget to stop at  Paul Smith's Pink wall and take a photo! We had dinner with Andi and Hemish at Kiwami. Really great vegetarian/cooked sushi for pregnant women and ended our night with some ice cream from Jeni's. Ending it here, i'll have more to share on tomorrows post.
